My spouse is one of them and when I’ve told people about why we’re divorcing I’ve gotten a LOT of unexpected stories. Parent affairs i never knew about in friends whose parents seem to have the perfect marriage, first husband and wives of casual friends that i never even knew about. It suddenly feels like going from no one to everyone now that I'm in “the club”.
