Agree! Folks need to be more aware of how easily you can get a lingering infection if not careful. Being explicit about having your partner wash his body *AND especially penis (and or toys) and making sure their nails aren’t going to snag you shouldn’t be needed…but it really is. With adults. It’s wild.
