It’s funny how small the GK community is 1-2 months out from tryouts where multiple GK’s tried out for multiple clubs? Everyone talks and the GK community is small. They all know each other and most are friends. Yes, CRAZY that someone knows so much about such a small community. Mind blown. 🤯
Not the PP you're responding to. Did she just get lucky with the 2010 year or are you saying there's someone lurking here that could answer for any year? Fascinating, if so.

Always will have haters am I right? I agree with this PP its a tiny community and now a ECNL level GK from TX shows up asking for help, I thought it was quite telling that GK parents actually gave helpful info more or less than is the norm on here. SO Kudos to the positive and helpful GK responses for this age group may it be a model for future inquiries.

SYC is not as locked as you would imagine they currently only have 1 GK and has a great program with the opportunity to train with the MLS GK coach as well.
Arlington would give you the most opportunity to play immediately as they were deep in a GK search most of the tryout season.
Union is known to go with 3 GK’s on some of their teams and 25+ field players so that’s not ideal. They will roster off GK’s on a rotation from week to week.
VA Rev is up and coming. And have heard good things about their program. They currently only have 1 GK at that age group.
VDA, Union, NVA all have signed at least 2 GK’s for the fall season.
Also where will you be located? That is a big factor as some commutes could be well over an hour.
Families leaving Arlington bc their girls keeper training program is terrible. Yes, you might get to play but your development will not improve.
