Jokes on your. They are always delivered cold, and pre-sampled.
Yeah, that's foolproof and cannot be defeated.
Who pissed on your cheerios today?
That’s a lot of hate packed into one sentence. FYI, Uber Eats requires background checks—including criminal history—before approving drivers, and using someone else’s account is against their policy and gets people deactivated. Also, associating immigrant status or health conditions like HIV with danger is both factually wrong and incredibly prejudiced. You might want to examine why you’re so comfortable stereotyping working people who are just trying to make a living.Anonymous wrote:Imagine leaving your food alone with registered sex offenders, Third World illegal immigrants, sick and ill (HIV, hepatitis, etc.), ex-cons, deviants, and who the hell knows what else. Often delivering on someone else's account! People are freaking nuts. Anything to feel like there are proles "below" you, I guess.

This. I cannot fathom people paying strangers to deliver their food.
I rarely even eat out unless I know the restaurant owners and staff. Most people really have no clue.![]()

FWIW... this may be a known fact but Ubereats jacks the prices WAY up. Example - I considered ordering Uber eats because they frequently have BOGO on certain items at a neighborhood place we like. It's like a 7 minute walk so DH and I decided to walk down there and see if it made sense to order online and get the BOGO or just order from the restaurant. Ubereats was 50% more expensive... for instance $12 in the restaurant at $18 in the app... yes, if we went with the BOGO we'd save money but that restricted what we could order AND meant we'd both have to get the same thing.
I've ordered Ubereats exactly once when I was traveling for work - it's convenient because the receipts go directly to my expense report, but work travel is the only time it's going to make sense for me.

You sound so painfully suburban it hurts.
Ah yes, the height of urban sophistication is having some random ass peasant class servant fetch your Sysco slop for you for a $3 tip. You are so high caste.![]()
