I certainly hope so. The notion Dems can win by pushing independents to the far left is what got us in this mess. Neither Harris nor Walz were seen as moderate Dems.
Agreed. And Dems won’t win again until they publicly acknowledge their mistake in going way too far left. Trying to just sweep it under the rug is not going to work. We need to know that Dems have changed.

If you voted for trump then you are to blame!
They could start doing that one eighty on immigration with reversing their sanctuary city non-sense. Otherwise, they'll be running on that same ticket they ran on in 2020, except they won't get away with "Trust us we're not Trump" on immigration, we saw what Biden did when he got in. Though he didn't run on immigration. Do you think the public is up for another whipsaw on the border? I think that's settled.
So yes, technically they could be doing something.
By 2026 trump will have deported all undocumented immigrants.

Advocate for policies that US voters want
Stop the overwhelming immigration
Show me one democrat that is doing that

Blaming the voters who voted for Trump is not going to win hearts and minds of the voters needed for the midterms and 2028.

for the party would be a great start.
Stop voting for republican bills - 100% NO across the board.
Stop acting entirely helpless when the President is violating the law, the constitution or court rulings.
+1 Schumer is past his prime and focused on promoting his latest book. He also could have played hardball on the continuing resolution-I don't buy his justification.
Even if Schumer were replaced by Jon Ossoff (who is up reelection this year and his opponent is likely to be Marjorie Taylor Greene!) they have no power. Trump and Muck would have shut everything down and done even more damage.

So they need good leaders. Jeffries and Schumer should step down. And they need to find a sympathetic person who has been illegally detained/deported and go all in on defending that person.
