UC schools are pretty supportive. Most offer gender identity neutral dorms and there are lots of kids who are comfortable rooming with anyone identifying as either gender.

I have two friends with trans kids. Trans girl is at Vassar and trans boy at GMU. Both seem to have found their people and are doing well.

? Bowdoin and Bates are just preppy liberal rural arts schools, Bowdoin being a lot more elite.



I have a trans kid at Bates....super happy, accepted, and has a great group of friends. Admin has been fantastic.

Ithaca College is very inclusive and forward-leaning for LGBTQ+ kids.
