The massive RIF at the IRS that has been looming over the agency has been paused for 1-2 years. (Although a lot of them are so demoralized that they'll be leaving sooner than that, leaving the IRS hugely understaffed and probably increasing the US debt. Thanks Elmo.) Bessent finally had enough of Elmo and told him No.

Well the stock may start to tank once the short squeeze ends, don't think their financials are going to improve in the near future. The only way would be to redefine/rebrand themselves without him.

Like others said, it doesn’t matter if he stays or goes. It doesn’t even matter if gets along with Trump or anyone else. Trump allowed Musk unprecedented access to darn near everything and he can now wreak havoc on the world like the ultimate supervillain. He can blackmail and set people up. He can erase or create histories. He can likely take full control over entire systems.
