ICE has a website. They post arrests and deportations there. You could also check @ICEgov on X.

I don't know how many people realize that if someone has previously been removed from the United States and then illegally returns that they have committed a federal crime. They are criminals. They will be automatically deported if they come into contact with law enforcement. In fact law enforcement targets them for deportation when they become aware of their return.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda. First you say the numbers say he was arresting illegal immigrants. Now you say he didn’t, but it’s Biden’s fault. Which is it? And please link to your proof.

Also, plenty of other states managed to arrest illegal immigrants under Biden. DeSantis was arresting them and flying them to blue states FFS. He chose not to. Probably wise in a generally blue state when he didn’t have the legislature and only won because of closed schools and McAwful brushing off upset parents. But still— not Biden’s fault.

Question. At what point to Republicans own their decisions and stop blaming Biden. Or Obama, nine years later? Personal responsibility anyone?

I am concerned Younking is just doing the same. He has been governor for years and VA police could for sure arrest violent gang members who commit murders, traffic people and drugs and so on. These are all state crimes and he certainly did no need the federa gov for this. Why did he leave these people in the streets of Virginia all these years doing nothing? Maybe because they are not criminals after all, hust undocumented immigrants

Because I think Youngkin is a one term opportunist who will never, unseat Kaine or Warner and has to do something after the beginning of 2026– and thus had Speedo incentive in a moderate state to go after immigrants until he discovered his best option was hitching his incredibly mediocre star to Trump. Which for a guy in a fleece jacket from NOVA who insisted he was a moderates moderate is a dumb move, but maybe the best of the bad options he has. Kinda hope if he ends up in jail like so many of Trumps cronies do (Just kidding— he and his fleece wouldn’t last 8 seconds in jail).

Or not at all. Many of the Venezuelans sent to CECOT came legally, never broke the law in Venezuela or here, and were pending and asylum hearing . These completely innocent men are nevertheless referred to as "illegal" by the likes of Kristi Noem, Marco Rubio, JD Vance and the rest.

I have lost all faith in them. I don't believe ANYTHING they say.

The Virginia Homeland Security Task Force operation started on February 25th. On February 27th Governor Youngkin signed EO #47 that was linked in the post you replied to. He "waited" until the newly created combined federal and state task force became operational to sign an EO that allowed for cooperation between state law enforcement and federal law enforcement.
