No, my client requests changes and determines the overall priority, then I determine the order of tasks to be assigned to my developers. I don't need to have regular meetings with the client once I have the big picture. I don't need developers to chime on what we should work on next.
I just got off a call with an interfacing team. We found a simple bug and their developer was able to pull up the code. Instead of making the fix the issue will be added to their backlog to review with their client to add to a future sprint. What a bureaucratic waste of time. On my project I'd have had it fixed while we were on the call and then let our client know that it was fixed and ready for deployment.
