I would say the best 30A experience is WITHOUT a car, just walking or biking. That said, you have to decide which end of 30A to stay - watercolor /seaside at one end, Rosemary/alys at the other. 30A is a 2-lane road that is jam packed during high season. Trying to drive back and forth is miserable.

You may be Florida raised but you don’t know much about it anymore, Alys Beach is maybe the most price per square foot beach community in the country. It doesn’t mean it’s for everyone, but “redneck” it is not.
