If you actually read the article and have the gift of comprehension, I know, I know, very few do, it said that she moved to NYC bcs he wanted to be with the family, but that they have separate jobs and interests and that is ok.
It could be that he has an interest in some other lover of any gender.
The truth is, I am not sure how she can even have a conversation with someone so insipid and uneducated.

I just googled it and She's been in NYC during his Broadway run. She does also have a very busy career herself.
