It’s automatically impressive since no one else has done it.

Hillsdale and Grove City beg to differ.

A PP. It's good to let the universities with the best law schools go first as they have lots of alums on all sides. This is kind of an intramural sport now.

Expect the schools with lesser funds to join in once they see how it's going.

Same. Harvard isn’t what it was.

Neither is America. People standing by as Trump destroys what took years to build. History in the making.

My school caved

A rival didn't.

I'm pumped to consider it for my kids now.

So to the right parent, Harvard is looking more attractive. To the rest, yes just have your kid decline.

We feel the same way. Harvard has zero tolerance for differing opinions.

Tell us you've never been anywhere near campus without telling us you've never been anywhere near campus.

I'm sure Harvard is devastated.

My kid is going to Yale. Harvard held no interest. And even she said yesterday, damn, Harvard looking good here!

Interesting, bc my harvard alum friends say the opposite, they have ceased donations and look elsewhere for hiring. But harvard has a global brand, deep pockets and a strong international donor base, so time will tell.

My class listserv was littered with people who donated for the first time yesterday.

They want them to give in to Trumps demands? I am not a Harvard Alum but could consider making a donation at this point.

As an alum, I don’t understand the knee jerk reaction/rationale behind punishing or rewarding individual Harvard students in hiring decisions based on their affiliation with the insitution, when they have no direct say over the decisions of the leadership.
