The Defense department hasn't passed an audit in years. Years.

Since we're friend with Russia now, and are isolationists, there is no need for all that equipment.

But a super small program that helps struggling young adults who are actually American citizens who live in the US? Apparently has to go.

Hasn't our own Dept of Defence failed multiple audits and costs tax payers sh*t ton more with waste and fraud and inefficiencies. I hear Trump and DOGE are going to review it but that was a couple months ago and has anything happened? Seems like it was smoke and mirrors and lies, as usual.

Uh, most of the communities benefiting from this program are in red states and rural red communities. I saw an article claiming that an entire red state aftercare program will cease today because of this. Think of how that leaves all of those working red state parents in a lurch.

Everyone having a degree in theatre arts or gender studies or basket weaving hasn’t really been the panacea it was sold to us as, either.
