I was in the intelligence field in the military. My colleagues who had the easiest transitions to civilian government jobs tended to be good at at least one (preferably 2 or 3) foreign languages.

I think that you missed the point of this thread. Majoring in "sales" will not lead to a career in either law or accounting.

This is it. Temple has a certificate for statistics in the social sciences for this purpose. Other schools have similar courses.

My kid is majoring in Economics. He will have to take Calculus. May pair it with statistics. He is also considering switching to finance.

Also, has an interest in public policy.

He's a good problem-solver, great persuasive writer, very social. Not interested in Sales.

International Affairs or Public Administration. My son is looking into these two.
