I don’t think there’s a nuanced perspective anywhere in this bubble. People can (and should) have evolving opinions, be able to accept when wrong, shift, whatever!

Don’t be so dramatic. He has complained about Trump being a dictator for years, but was recently invited to dinner at the WH, apparently set up by Kid Rock. Afterwards he went on his show and said Trump seemed like a nice thoughtful guy and they had a great dinner together

This is a good take.

He’s always been anti Trump so the quick bending over was surprising to me. Also he seems like kind of a smart guy, he’s railed for years about Trump and claimed we are in the middle of a slow moving coup, but he was taken by one nice dinner and some flattery?
