Giant—great bakery and flower shop. Both have a willingness to customize orders. Also, it’s always well stocked throughout the store with specialty items, international foods, and a natural food aisle. Giant in McLean.

Trader Joe's. Too many choices are ... too many, so I like that TJ's doesn't have a ton, and I can buy 75% of what I eat there and their prices are lower than anywhere else I can get to.

Erewhon, because it has the absolute best organic food and produce. And the hot bar is *amazing*

We are done with Costco. It's a zoo. I think the membership cost is too low and/or people are abusing it and sharing it with too many family members.

I'm honestly committed to Whole Foods at this point. I gladly pay high prices to avoid uncouth crowds.

Even Target is feeling more like Walmart lately. About to swear off it, too.

That’s my store too. Been shopping there since it opened. I like that it isn’t as big as other Wegs. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have done a lot to expand their international offerings so it saves me a trip to another store. I don’t buy a lot of their prepared foods but I find their pricing to be inline with other stores on grocery staples.

Probably because most of us don't live in DC. We are all going to the stores nearest to where we live.

MOMs is the best by far

Live in Arlington and go to Tysons Wegmans for the best overall value, fresh produce, family packs, and really good store brand. Distant second would be the small Whole Foods and bad parking lot in Clarendon. Than it’s Safeway or Harris teeter as alternates depending on time and where my errands are that day.

Wegman's because they have spectacular produce compared to the other stores in my area. They also have a huge gluten-free section. The downside is their prices but that ties into the quality.

Local Giant, because I know where everything is and can get in and out quickly

Costco, because I can stock up, for cheap

Trader Joe's, for nights I'm hosting book club

Wegmans when I'm not in a rush and also want to pick up an already made dinner that I'm just heating or pulling out of the refrigerator (although also do this at Trader Joe's)
