Not worth it. Things get squeezed out. The lids don’t hold a seal. The ones I bought were crap. Always pack anything in a plastic zip top bag anyway. That is the lesson I learned.

Just because you wouldn’t do something, nobody should? It’s not absurd. I think packing full size bottles is absurd. Also, nobody wants to use bar shampoo.

I think you need to consolidate your family travel kit if you need 15 bottles. That is absurd. Take one product of each kind you all can use, preferably one that will last, like bar shampoo. I can see taking your own conditioner. Everyone can use the same soap and toothpaste too.

Do you need so many? What are you bringing? I have a mini contact solution bottle, mini toothpaste, mini sunscreen, and a mini shampoo. Mostly I use trial sizes and refill. I don’t think my husband and kids bring anything except toothpaste and deodorant.

Dp, they actually are noticeably heavier. Maybe it’s the containers plus the bags they come with. But I put some back when I was shopping simply because they weighed too much.

I just bought a bunch for our family too. I went with the hard plastic because I couldn’t stomach $50 on them.
I believe I got them at the dollar store.

So that you can bring small amounts of things like.shampoo, so it's under 3 ounces, so works for a carry-on bag. Also saves weight and space versus large bottles.
