Call your Republican representatives and say this is a non-starter for the SSA.
I don't live in Kansas, but my FIl should call if he has working phone service.
I don't know a single person who is still on X, and most people 65+ don't care about X at all and aren't going to join if they aren't already on there.
Sounds like a desperate attempt to prop up the platform.

But people can’t get through on the phone because they have fired so many staff and closed field offices.

You do understand that all phone service was not being cancelled? Just the part about changing routing of bank accounts.

Social Security Administration just made an official announcement on X, stating thst Social Security Administration will not be exclusively posting announcements on X.
The statement on X did not link or refer to any official reference for the announcement, immediately undermining the claim.
How do these people tie there shoes in the morning?

No. The Hill quoted from another report. Read it again more carefully. And, that report was from sources.
And, again, this was about REGIONAL SSN offices.
