Keep in mind that high schoolers (especially 10th and 11th graders who are taking lots of AP classes) are doing very little after AP exams are finished.
I have family in Loudoun county, and this is what their school district does.

Don't high schools close on day of their school's graduation ceremony? If this is still how they do it, that's another day gone for 9th - 11th grade students after Memorial day.

+1 in a series of many ridiculous decisions. It's just for show, and everyone knows it. Majority of HSers won't show up after Jun 12.
It’s required by the state. Only the state can excuse the days and it has not seen fit to do so.
