My grandpa died at home (heart attack) in the master suite. I wonder if anyone who purchased knew.

People die in houses all the time. What a weird take.

Take your sensible attitude somewhere else.

Happened in my neighborhood as a kid, but the family was just local high profile, man appeared to kill his family and himself, but their adult sons said it was mafia related. (They were Italian, but most of the rest of the neighborhood was not.)

We just called it "the murder house" and it sat vacant for a few years until memory faded and it was rented and sold. No one moved, it wasn't like we were targets either way.

This. I would not move because of a "high profile murder."

A few years back a teacher at my kid’s’ elementary school in Michigan murdered her husband with a hatchet. Nobody moved (but the students started behaving better). True story.

My boyfriend had a son like this. They got divorced and ex wife got primary custody and child support. Son was age 6. My boyfriend got weekends. Son was in special ed by 2nd grade. Age 8 ex wife came to drop off son and his dog and ex wife said she could no longer manage son and did not want visitation.

Boyfriend was a single Dad from that point on. Boyfriend said his son was an extremely difficult child with a lot of rage and mostly non verbal. Son has a job now. He lives on his own. His employer likes him.

A friend lives near the house where the Heaven's Gate people killed themselves in CA. They did not move though they did have a lot of press people around but there is a lot of space between the properties.

My neighbor was a psychologist and during covid had patients come to his house (stupid). One of them went rogue and held him hostage and burned part of his home down. A squat team was called and they evacuated the whole street and brought a bearcat truck. Nobody moved and the house was repaired.

My grandparents lived down the street from Sam Sheppard. Huge scandal at the time. They didn't move.

No, why? It happens. I would NEVER buy a murder house.
