Would love to hear which tour you used! Starting to plan a trip and my 9yo Percy Jackson fan would love this.
I was going to plan 3 nights in Athens (we'd get in late arrivalday) and in addition to a tour like the above thought about a food tour geared toward kids on the second day. Does that sound about right? Any other suggestions for a half day?
This would be outside of the main beach season so rather than going to an island I was leaning towards renting a car and driving to Delphi (2 nights) and then the Peloponnese peninsula (likely Nafplio, 3 nights). Has anyone done something like this?
Why would you go to Greece and not go to the islands? That's the entire point of Greece.

We have a long list- the plaka neighborhoods, rooftop dinner at Kuzina overlooking acropolis, the stadium, changing of the guards, botanical gardens, island day tour, etc Maybe americans coming to Greece from the Us feel a huge need to make it like disneyland (all of those who only mentioned going to the acropolis for example) we do slow
Tourism trying to maximize the experience not tick things of the list.
