I’ve heard nothing but nice things about both of them. As an APS employee I’m backing June. We have some serious issues in the county and I think we are headed towards a real crisis soon. I think only someone who has worked in APS can really understand

To be fair, it’s pretty annoying that people who haven’t worked in education think they can fix it

+1

She called out Moe for skipping all the relevant meetings. She wants to lead but can’t show up?

I’ve known her for over 10 years. She’s the opposite of thinned skinned!

I wish she ran against Miranda instead.

June is going to lose. Moe has been around APS forever, and isn't a say, CDT or Zuraya, who truly have no experience either in a classroom or as a real APS volunteer leader but somehow won.

June should have run another year.

Can you say more about these posts? I missed them.

June is bitter. She used the AEA FB page to make a list of elected officials that endorsed her opponent. Calling them "non pro ecucation" and that she would update the post as needed. Yes, in her rage posting she misspelled education.

This will harm all APS staff. It's not a great look for the union to be bashing County Board and School Board members.

Wow, I'd be angry if I was a union member. This will probably hurt the union in trying to recruit members too. Is this how June operates? I remember the prior President was a train wreck too.

I went to June’s campaign website and I’m mistaken, she has a few endorsements besides her own. Nova Labor, no surprise and Chen Ling. Okayyyyyy. But Moe is cleaning up with the rest. I didn’t see her trashing Moe, but I didn’t read comments.

Chen Ling, a random nobody who ran for school board out of the blue and lost? Okaaay. Not the guy I'm going to listen to. He always seemed really clueless.

I wonder if AEA violated some election law by promoting June's candidacy?

FEC website says a union can't coordinate with a candidate. How can there not be coordination when she's literally the president? Something seems fishy here.

Anonymous wrote:The AEA should have sat out this race IMO. But they've had some questionable endorsements in the past few years, for example Angelo, not endorsing Kathleen, so endorsing June tracks.

June is still AEA president according to the website. Why didn't she step down when she decided to run for school board?
