I would just ignore it and block this person. No one s really going to take the time or energy to sue over a bad review that didn't even mention them by name.

Tell her to stop contacting and harassing you, then block her. She outed herself. Don’t delete anything just in case.

I don’t agree with the tone of the pp, but she is correct. You need to solve this problem. Any pet sitter could have problems getting to your house on any given day. We all experience accidents and unexpected events. No one is perfect. See if a weighted bowl or other contraption might work such that your dog will not be without water after only half a day.

Finding a more reliable pet sitter is fine, but even the most reliable have days where nothing goes according to plan.

Nothing will happen. Don't respond to the texts. Save them. Block her.

OP should post screenshots of the threats as comments to her Nextdoor post.
