I am watching the documentary and it's unhinged. She leaves the Mans family because they are getting in the way of her and her online boyfriend. Then it portrays them as con artists who adopt a bunch of kids so they can take their government money, making around 100 K for all of them a year. So she asks the first family (from before the Barnetts) to come rescue her, which they do. This first family all have the same dwarfism and seem the most normal of all three families. Natalia goes to live with the dwarf family and then she pisses them off by staying loyal to the Mans and sending them money when they give it to her as gifts and continually defending them.

Regardless of how old she actually was, this girl was out of control … I can see why the parents didn’t want anything to do with her. They seemed kinda crazy too though.

I'm watching this and I've watched the docs. These are some of the strangest people and this is one of the strangest stories ever. Both the Barnetts and the next family that adopted her had dubious motives for doing so. They did so for attention and money and had no clue about managing the severity of her problems, both physical and mental. They all seem like creeoy grifters.

Even the neighbors when she lived alone were also strange and cold.

The agency that had her when the Barnetts adopted--just horrible. She was like an orphan on the storm.
