But this assumes that they can fix it before the midterms. This destruction is wholesale. It’s not fixable. Even if
Trump decides this afternoon to pull back all his tariffs and declare victory, it’s broken. He’s pissed away almost a century of greatness. The GOP might be living in a state of hubris that all Trump has to do is snap his fingers and it’ll be alright but we have broken trust.

Trump turned Arizona purple. It was never in contention for Ds before Trump started f***ing up.

Wisconsin.


Wisconsin was blue for a long time and is now purple. They have one D and one R senator. Wisconsin has 6 R US representatives vs. 2 D, but only because of gerrymandering. They have a Democratic governor, who replaced a Republican one, who replaced a Democratic one.

Wisconsin is purple.
