No there is SO much drama, so much anxiety. I spend time each week boosting my team's morale.

Our jobs changed for the worse and noone is efficient.

No. DOGE just fired a lot of the people keeping our agency running. Those of us who are left will just have to decide which work to cut.

Social security website just crashed.
People's last desperate cancer trials were just cancelled.

Is this post a joke?

What was preventing managers from getting rid of the dead weight?

There are so many posts that talk about poor workers , but why is it so hard to get rid of people?

Is the work that subjective?

Are there no goals to measure against?

I really don’t understand

Is DOGE helping anyone?

Are you a troll?

DOGE's purpose was to distract everyone so that a tax cut for billionaires can be passed. Nothing else.

They fired the most recent hires, young ambitious and most tech savvy in general.

They fired whole offices and divisions to avoid RIF rules.

This helps no one.

+1 none of it had anything to do with performance or targeting low performers

They've eliminated procurement offices, so good luck if you need pencils or a new laptop. #winning

I have a new job planned and can’t wait to give my 1 hours notice before I walk out on Friday. - IRS manager

Also from the IRS, the doge has saved us a few million dollars in personnel expenses and so far we’re down over $10 billion in receipts this filing season. So much winning
