Yes. Her doctor told her some women experience postpartum sweating and body odor. It’s nothing she is doing wrong.
So what do you want her to do about it? What solution do you propose? If it’s hormonal out your big boy pants on and wait it out. Your boner will be back soon enough.

It sounds like she knows this is happening, has seen the doctor about it, and is making an effort to deal with it (shower twice a day, witch hazel, etc). So telling her it's still there and causing problems is a jerk move. Are there any homeopathic things you can research? Supplements? Changing fabric of sheets, etc? Changing diet.

Anonymous wrote:Have her habits changed, maybe due to being busier with 2 kids? Like not showering as often, rewearing clothes when she would not normally (like just throwing the same sweatshirt on without thinking), not washing towels or sheets as often etc? Things can get a bit hectic? Sometimes a 13 week old is more work than a newborn (not sleeping as much, more fussiness etc)…at least that was the case for my babies.

I think I would react okay to my husband saying “hey babe could you put on clean PJs/can we change the sheets, it doesn’t smell great.” (He sometimes asks me to brush my teeth and I do the same.)
Anonymous wrote:Some version of this happened to me after both of my pregnancies. I sweat so much- especially at night- I had to sleep on a waterproof sheet cover in bed. I can’t remember how long it lasted? At the time I was told it was relatively normal. I gained what seemed like a ton of water weight during the end of my pregnancies, and then lost the pregnancy weight very quickly. Could it be something like that, possibly? I also had to switch to a stronger deodorant after my first pregnancy- my body chemistry changed or something.
It was largely temporary.

My wife has some hormone issues that she didn’t have with our the first. She had dealt with body odor and excessive sweating after having our second child. I would like to politely broach the subject but I don’t know how without hurting her.
What is your diet? Are you white?
