The framers didn't envision "arms" with the destruction of an AR-15; the framers didn't envision an internet or phones or satellite dishes or consolidation of the means of production or cars or airplanes...should we just ban all of these things and go back to living like Ma and Pa Ingalls?

General Washington mandated inoculation his men against smallpox in 1777. Veteran welfare has always been a part of military service, which is a primary government function. Clean water is civic. Investment in innovation is in the constitution (the Patent Office).

Social Security is about the only basic governmental function that was not around in the time of the Founders. That's the one that you want to get rid of? Really?
