We stay with our young kids at their Star Inn property across from Congress Hall - in the "suites" part of their inn, which is definitely more kid friendly. We walk across the street to the Congress Inn pool and amenities. We've also stayed at the Sandpiper (also affiliated). But I think a toddler would be ok in a room at Congress Hall proper moreso than my 2 young ES aged kids.


Do the Sandpiper - it’s a condo style. Having a kitchen with a baby is handy.

They have beach service so they will set up the umbrella/chairs for you and bring you lunch. I loved it when my kids were little. Very easy.

Icona i great for its location but it is just a hotel, nicer than the others in the area (except the Reeds which I just shared in the post above.)

Stone Harbor and Avalon have plenty of "ok" places, but very little that is 4 star spectacular.

Cheasapeke bay Hyatt, but the food is not good and it’s on a river not the beach.
The Bellmoor, while nice, isn’t on the beach, and the Rehoboth restaurants that are nice aren’t baby friendly.


The Bellmoor has easy beach access though (2 or 3 blocks?) which is all she asked for.


They have a wonderful breakfast in a large room and courtyard. Food offerings have varied over the years. There is not a full service restaurant on site. Small, but family oriented pool. Not sure I would want to be in it as a parent with kids, and those with diapers.

Not on the ocean, but the Tides Inn has a heated pool and good room service. But assuming someone else is flying the plane, I think it’s easier to fly up to Massachusetts with a six month old than drive to a mid-Atlantic beach resort in the summer (if one existed).
