My kid applied on the first day the application process was open and hasn’t heard anything.

Sorry the position was not a match for your child. With all the uncertainty in the job market, there may not be as many options to choose from. MCPS reaches out to various employers but they've got to accept to ensure various opportunities for students. It's just not happening this year.
It was a camp counselor job. Terrible hours, no flexibility and it was a transportation issue. Kids can get paid camp jobs. It wasn’t anything close to what was asked. It’s not an internship it’s a volunteer job. They can volunteer elsewhere with something more interesting and closer to
I get it. I think in the past places like NIH and Glenstone participated. Anyone's child get an NIH or Glenstone offer this year?
