I have to wear knit button downs. They're not as dressy looking, but they look better than all the excess fabric.

I bought this knit Oxford on sale last season without realizing that the fabric was going to be more of a knit than a poplin. I’m not sure how to describe it best but it’s sort of like a crisp polo fabric. Anyway, I loved it and plan to buy more colors this season. It’s stretchy and soft but still looks sharp and tailored

I wear a medium normally, but buy a small in Lands End button ups. There’s enough room for alterations to nip in the waist. And with their lower prices, it makes it all work out well.

I don't know how they weave the poplin, but it's a dream to wear. I find the cut of the shirt extremely flattering too. The models don't really do them justice.
