What about the Harry Potter tour? See if any plays are in London he’d like.

Depending on the type of music, there are free or cheap concerts at St Martin in the Fields, the Royal College of Music etc. If you are there in late July, you can go to the Proms, which is a 6 week celebration of music sponsored by the BBC, with multiple concerts daily. There are also musuc performances at the Barbican and the National Theatre.

There are lots of rock musicals in the West End. Check out the TodayTix app.

For food, try Seven Dials Market, Spitalfields Market, Brick Lane Market, and Brixton Market. Peckham is sort of the in area for foodies.

That’s true but I’ve been in London twice in last 5 years when it’s been sweltering and nothing is set up for that sort of heat. It happens.

You can rent bikes and ride a it to one of the castles stopping at multiple plus for food.

There are really cool archeology tours where people hunt for treasures in the Thames (that’ may not be of interest to your 18 year old but mines would love it so mentioned here

There are tons of walking tours including a rock music tour (look it up on Viator)

And check out concerts for the dates you are there. Am sure there will be many to choose from!
