I believe Canadian schools tend to be significantly cheaper. Americans are not very popular there right now, though that could change and I'm sure it is easy enough to distance yourself from the policies of the current administration.

I wouldn’t say they are significantly cheaper…total COA for Toronto in 2023 (when my kid was interested) was around US$62,000 for engineering.

Thats cheaper than private US schools, but not cheaper than in state public (or even OOS public).

Canadian schools have a la carte pricing and I know engineering is more expensive than other majors.

Toronto is like 78,000 students with lots of commuters.

Queen's in Kingston, Ontario is great!

University at Kings College is like a small liberal arts/great books experience on the Dalhousie campus — sort of an Oxford/Emory model maybe? But fully integrated with the university. I really encouraged my kid to look there. Seemed great.
