Ha. Michelle tried that, and you all got mad about chocolate milk and soda disappearing from schools.

Speak for yourself, not MAHA.

Get the freggin garbage out of the cafeterias and make food healthy again! Children getting involved with growing food is a fabulous thing, either at school or in their own back/ front yards. Local communities need to come together to maintain the gardens when the school children aren’t there.

What do you say?

It’d be nice to have better cafeteria food but it’s not causing obesity unless a kid is getting three or four servings. The portions aren’t that big compared to fast food places and restaurants.

Don’t you know the poison food additives are addictive? Why do you think they’re BANNED in the EU?

My father worked in an office building that was under construction dropping asbestos everywhere. He got the rare form of cancer related to asbestos at a young age and died within six months of diagnosis.

The EPA has been working on banning it since the 1970s. Certain uses were banned early like sprays for home use. But it took the EPA until 2024 to get a complete ban.

The EPA works to make people safe. If Trump had won a second term he probably would have signed another executive order reversing the ban.

This regime is causing so many deaths. The cancer deaths are just the beginning. Exposure to pesticides, lead, mercury and other toxins lead to all kinds of diseases including Parkinsons and Alzheimer's. Cancer is only the beginning. It's terrifying, but Greed is Good, say the oligarchs and Christian right. Oh and they are getting rid of gun control for good measure. Lots and lots of Americans are going to die because of this regime just to make a small number of people unimaginably rich. All at our expense, us suckers, us poors.

You’re welcome to eat toxic waste if it makes you feel better.

Let's see now. There's many citations of microplastics being found in our bodies.

How long has the EPA been in existence?

Has the EPA been collecting a pay check? Well then, why are you telling us we need them.

Doesn't look like they're effective.

What kind of stupid logic are you operating under?

It's akin to saying "we've had seat belts, air bags and other safety mechanisms in cars for years but they still don't prevent 100% of car accident deaths, so we should just get rid of all safety equipment" completely ignoring all the lives those safety mechanisms have already saved and continue to save.

Also, EPA can't and don't just go out and regulate whatever they want. They need authority from Congress. Can you show me where Congress passed laws on microplastics?

What kind of stupidity is this?

The research scientists i know have spent years if not decades learning science and practicing techniques so they can work weekends trying to make or confirm scientific discoveries.

Would you rather they deny coverage for patients at a health insurer or something?

+1

NIH scientists have a cancer breakthrough. Layoffs are delaying it.
