Absolutely not. They stay home and rest until cleared by their doctor to participate physically. Occasionally, they may attend games for support from the sidelines. That's it.

we did not go to practice- we told the coach we were using the time for PT. The coach was cool with it- my DD did attend games when it was a home game and sat with the team.
