Yes, I saw a MAGA saying that the federal workforce of 24 million could easily be cut 50% to 10 million. (The 24m number was from Grok.)
Someone pointed out that the federal workforce is currently (or at least as of January 19th) around 2 4 million.
That means we should hire 8 million new federal employees.

It's a useless side show with more downside than upside. Medicare Medicaid social security defense debt payments. That's where our money goes. Not to federal salaries.
And a nice big chunk of it is about to go to tax cuts for rich people. Thanks a lot Maga.
