This is very very very sketchy. I had a (male) MFM make a sexually abusive joke he never would have made if my husband were there during covid. I would nope the F out of this office in a heartbeat and make sure you tell them why

This has nothing to do with sickness. If you live in the same house you're all sharing the same sickness

Then you would be looking for a new OB and OB's are hard to find these days

If you're old enough to bring a baby into this world then you should be old enough to go to medical appointments by yourself!

Hmmmm maybe they thought they needed to ask you some private questions?

I'm willing to give the doc the benefit of the doubt and see if she has a reason, but I hate this garbage. Of course that's the goal. Doesn't mean the journey has to be miserable. It wasn't important to YOU. It is to the OP.

What is not normal about this is that you did not ask why or question why others are going back.

Lol where were you in 2020. “Entitled” isn’t true at all. They can just drop you as a patient.

What was their reason or rationale for not letting him in?

The goal is to have a healthy and happy delivery. My spouse went to one scan. It's really not that important.

Norovirus and the flu is going around. You don't want all that.

Be honest...was he coughing, sniffling, sneezing, or looking unwell? No one is discriminating against you because you're in your 20s and having a baby.
