Someone asked about student loans ... maybe they don't want people who can't afford college on their own to go to college at all.... I'm pretty sure we're going to need workers to replace all those undocumented, hard-working immigrants (i.e the ones who are deported). Those who can't pay for college can pick tomatoes and strawberries and oranges!

Same. Please take your personal belongings home and your work equipment. People at CFPB are still locked out of their building for "security reasons," nearly a month later. They also promptly canceled the lease so there will be nothing to return to.

If you work there take your personal stuff home TODAY. Mugs, family photos, plants, whatever. Who knows whether it really will be open again or under what terms...eg security lets you put your plant in a box and turn in your badge.

Not really a winning argument. With the DOE gone, Trump will be able to pick and choose which states get block grants (if they get them at all) based on fealty to HIM. It's all about control.
