My tweens really liked walking on South Street and looking at the vintage shops. Just go during the day.

Eastern State Penn was also a big hit. And Reading Terminal Market.

Are you thinking of the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum? It’s actually in Philly, just not in a tourist area. My 10 year old daughter, 11 year old son, and 13 year old son all loved it. I’m not a car person, and I enjoyed it, too! Bonus: not crowded and free parking!
