Why do you care so much if there are girls who live in Maryland trying out? There is no rule that you have to live in DC or Virginia to tryout for that team. It's a regional tryout site. Girls from the DC suburbs, including those from Maryland, are more likely to tryout at Episcopal than in Bel Air, more than hour away.

Were you in the woods scoping the players out?


There were plenty of cars with MD license plates dropping kids off and picking them up. Many of the girls carried backpacks from BLC, M&D/NL, and other MD clubs. Not need to hide anywhere to see them.


This always cracks me up; why all the sleuthing? Don't you just ask your daughters who showed up? My DD and her teammates seem to know everybody, have competed against them in club or school, follow each other on instagram, have seen their YouTube videos, etc. All I have to do is listen while carpooling.

Episcopal High School is a lot closer to Moco than Bel Air, MD.


So people from Bel Air MD were trying out?


Team Maryland's tryouts will be in Bel Air, MD, in May
