+1 if your child has intolerances to multiple things, just know that no one wants to invite them to socialize ever
So you are excluding my child because they have nut allergies?
I said multiple allergies and yes, if I have to choose between the mom with the kid who cheerfully eats strawberries and Gogurts and ice cream versus the kid whose mom hovers over ingredient lists, guess who wins

Yes, this! My SIL is an educated woman who forces her kids to finish their plates and threatens no dessert if they do not finish. (I have to leave the room when she starts spoon feeding her not-hungry 5 year old.) Except when they don’t finish they get dessert anyway. So eating with them becomes this pointless never ending battle over food.
And to stay on the food theme, I am anti-snack. So many people ply their kids with empty calorie crap throughout the day, and the kids expect a constant stream of food and don’t understand true hunger signals, and of course the kids don’t want to eat real food at dinner.
Don’t even get me started on “snack sign up” sheets. I was thrilled when they went away with covid, but they’re back now. I am a curmudgeon who judges people who initiate community snacks.
