There is no cause of action. No possibility of a lawsuit for this. They would have had to lie to you and say roster of 18 and there are 40. But even then that is not going to work unless you complained and they did not give your money back. Probably not material either.

This is pure trolling. Show one team with a roster of 40 or even 30 or even over close to 25. At 11v11 the largest roster is 20 and that's often due to teams with high distance travel because not all players can make it.

2008s have 25 on the roster.
2009s have 25 on the roster.


Are you serious? Those kids are in high school. They are suppose to be that large. Where are the rosters of 40? We'll wait.


Your specific statement was: At 11v11 the largest roster is 20. I refuted that. That's all. No where are there rosters of 40. Max allowed is 30.

This is normal. As players get older some sign with colleges early, others get hurt, some prioritize homecoming or other school activities over soccer, etc.

Having a big roster doesn't mean clubs are screwing over older players.

If true would open up a ton of future lawsuits. Would say this has been issues at numerous clubs with no communication on roster sizes. Adding kids mid season.
