My TJs is in Baileys Crossroads, and their wine section is pretty large. They do normally have this, but I don't buy it regularly so I'm not sure right now. I'd call first.

The TJs Reserve or Platinum or Diamond labels have some great wines. It's not the 2-buck chuck (which is also labeled TJs). It's usually at $40+ bottle if wine they are relabeling and selling for $18-25.

Since I started trying those, I rarely buy other brands there. A few of the whites. But honestly, cheap European wine (especially French!) is way better than cheap American wine, so I prefer buying that too.

Sure, why not? A lot of people live on budget: I’d rather save my money for other things.

When I can enjoy a perfectly nice wine for less, that’s a win-win.

I don't love their wines(other than the Vino Verde on a hot summer night) but do love when they have samples- always makes grocery shopping a bit more fun .

A lot of MD drivers have VA plates for tax avoidance reasons. That’s probably what you’re seeing.

really just a couple I wanted to try. it’s really not that serious.

Also-to the poster who recommended total wine-that’s where we get most of our wine. Just wanted to see what some of the hype was for a couple tjs ones.

I do. I buy their $3.95 Cabernet for cooking. It’s not very good for drinking.

Trader Joe's is not where we shop for wine. It'a all very, very cheap table wine from Europe. And we live half the year in Europe and visit a lot of wineries...I talk to the owners and the wines imported by Trader Joes are ones even Penny Markt will not carry. Try Total Wines or look for a small local wine shop.
