Please. No one's boycotting over Ukraine and some delusional white American liberals' complaints.

I hope the Olympics gets boycotted and then cancelled!

And will keep Greece relevant and could it help their economy?

Anonymous wrote:Is there a point at which other countries will boycott the LA Olympics in response to Trump’s disrespectful treatment and restrictions on the press? Will that prevent the government from abandoning democracy? I was looking for some hope that the patriotism and glamour of hosting the Olympics might be a more powerful check on Trump becoming more autocratic, but perhaps any international protest would be sadly spun/interpreted as “deserved” economic punishment for liberal Angelenos (even though LA and SoCal has many Rs, too).

Countries should boycott. Fires, weather related issues are there too. Or cancel them. Or do an Americas version.

Olympics and World Cup will just provide more opportunities for Trump’s extortion and corruption.

Nah no way!

Futbol fans are fanatics. They will not boycott… Christ did u see where the last one was held and all the people that died to make it happen …and the show went on.

FIFA is corrupt

I think people are taking about countries boycotting, not fans. But I think a lot of foreigners would think twice about coming here anyway.

It'll be fine. With the way things are going, California will have seceded by 2028.

LA seems to be doing a good job of that all on its own.

Hell yeah! It is crucial we really screw over all those people living in the Los Angeles area right now.

I wouldn't mind seeing the US being kicked out of World Cup hosting in 2026. It is possible since we are co-hosting with Mexico and Canada. FIFA can just say it is for athlete protection from unwarranted ICE actions.

The US should not be allowed to participate.
