I went to Andre too back in the day. Same as others - weird vibes, terrible atmosphere, expensive, but a fantastic haircut.

I went there in the 90s. I think some of his stylists (from before his legal problems) went to Nantucket Salon at 15th and H.

I think I went there once when I first moved here in 1997. I’ve been going to the same haircutter and colorist since 1998

I went to the Andre Chreky Salon back in the early 2000s. I hate to wait a really long time even though I had an appointment (with a regular stylist — not Andre), and then they totally upsold me, but they were really slick about it (“Do you want me to condition your hair?” Well, of course — why wouldn’t I want you to condition it after you shampoo it? (Not realizing it was “special” conditioner — I know, I know, but I was from the Midwest)). The haircut was just meh. I never went back.

Oh my gosh, the Mona moms are at it again. If you want the same haircut as every other mom in North Arlington, go to this guy. He is a one trick pony.

Looks like his brother's salon is still open, but bad vibes there too.
