Two teachers plus an aid in each prek classroom. Kids do not rotate between classrooms at that age.

Mann is probably one of the best schools in DC and they do this till 3rd. They don't have as high test scores in the city (they don't teach to the test like Key/Janney), but they explicitly have a teacher and an aide. Other schools in the area stop usually by 1st grade

This. It's not a bilingual classroom but a lot of teachers who can accommodate bilingual students.

That said in PK3/4/K there's been a real collaboration between the aides and teachers and a lot of respect between them, often having worked together for years.

This may not be relevant because I'm in a private school. But I have a co-teacher. It is the most amazing thing and tbh, I think every K-2 classroom in the country should have two fully certified teachers and a cap of 20 students. Every single kid in our classroom is on or above grade level, and we are able to remediate and challenge each kid in reading, writing and math.
