If the Democratic response to the current extreme MAGA administration is simply the opposite extreme, then I may actually decide not to vote in 2028. I'm done with the extremism of both sides.
There has been no extremist left, you are just an idiot. Please stay home.

Frankly a bunch of self satisfied in-the-bubble elite progressives sucking up money at NGO’s enabled all the right wing bullshittery we are currently enduring.
The smug aholes that got us into this, aren’t the ones to get us out.
No thank you.
+1 If a Democratic Project 2028 simply means to totally reverse ALL of Trump's EOs (they aren't all bad...perhaps just badly implemented)..then no, absolutely not in favor.
There needs to be less extremism from both sides...that's what landed us in this mess to begin with. There needs to be a clean slate - stop with the blame game. Just look forward and put forth a new "best in breed" Project 2028 -- meaning take a look at Trump's EOs without bias - the EOs that a majority of the country fundamentally favor (and voted for or even support even though they voted for Harris) and incorporate them into Project 2028 with perhaps a modified plan of execution/implementation.
I voted for Harris and can't stand Trump, but I fundamentally support the idea of many of his EOs even though I may disagree with how they are being implemented.
So you aren’t a D.
No one cares what you think about the D platform.
I'm not a progressive liberal Dem. Believe it or not there are...or rather were conservative Democrats.
I do not vote straight R or D -- I vote for the policies that align most with what I believe in...sometimes its a Democrat and other times its a Republican.
I'm a moderate swing voter and if you don't care what I think about the D platform that speaks volumes and that's why you lost in 2024 and will likely lose again in 2028. Remember that.

Ds should not cater to bigots.
Ds have learned absolutely nothing.
Fck you, bigot.

I might or might not care about what you think...depending on which state you live in.

Gift opinion article which basically says the do nothing sit watch and watch implosion approach is not the right one. Instead, progressive liberal Dems who care about people need to propose ambitious solutions bc there are real problems in our system and government.
Who (person / groups) is positioned to write such a thing? Would they?
IMO watching an implosion might be fun but it doesn’t provide a viable alternative that reacts to the real problems in the US for the midterms and next Presidential cycles.
NP. You’ll first have to convince the country that progressive liberal Dems actually care about people. I don’t believe that any more (moderate Democrat here) and I don’t know anyone who does actually believe that.
I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. Why don't progressives "care about people"?

This describes me, my husband, my sibling and almost everyone that I know. We all voted for Harris because we knew what was at stake but we also disagree with the progressive platform. The far left wing of the party brought us Trump. It stupid to keep catering to the far left because the middle is much larger. Unfortunately, the dems learned nothing and are doubling down on unpopular legislation.
