Graduated many years ago from ERHS and was absolutely a humanities kid, but Science & Tech was just what you did... your actual interest in those subjects wasn't the deciding factor. I didn't feel that those subjects were overwhelming in any way, there is still a lot of deviation within the Science & Tech program for kids with different levels of abilities. I knew several classmates who were so advanced in math that they went to the University of MD for their math class. I, on the other hand, arranged my schedule so that I never had to go past PreCalculus. Those kind of options are what is available in a school of 2,500 kids. Being grouped with other Science & Tech kids though was beneficial in many ways. I enjoyed some of the more engineering like classes and still went on to major in Humanities in college.
