This is a very unsurprising development. Trump was close friends with Epstein , he nominated Hegseth (accused of rape and threatening his wife), Trump's first wife accused him of rape, he admitted to sexually assaulting women and lost a civil suit for doing just that.
Of course these are guys Trump would champion. He probably thinks they are victims, like those convicted of violence on Jan 6.
