Well, wasn’t it around 2007 that the police literally barricaded the neighborhood with checkpoints trying to get crime under control.

Would not move there now. It saw the biggest appropriation that it ever will between 2007-2020.

My friend working for the electric company got shot in a cross fire in that neighborhood. I don't recommend any part of DC since its out of control and if kids shoot you they don't go to jail or a detention facility. They get away with murder.
